Scope of Practice

Body Beneficial Massage & Wellness DOES NOT employ licensed medical professionals, nor is it permitted to diagnose any medical condition or prescribe medication for treatment.  Anyone seeking medical attention due to illness or injury should immediately contact a licensed physician or dial-911.

Late Arrivals

If a late arrival is unavoidable and the therapist is given proper notification, a shortened session can be performed; however, the cost of the scheduled full session will still be charged.  If the schedule allows, it is at the discretion of the therapist to provide the full session.

The session will automatically be canceled by Body Beneficial Massage & Wellness once 50% of the session time has elapsed, and a cancellation fee will be applied to the client's account.

A no-show/no-call will incur a 100% charge that must be paid before any future appointments will be scheduled, or the forfeiture of a pre-paid voucher or gift certificate.

Body Beneficial Massage & Wellness acknowledges that circumstances in life are sometimes beyond a person's control and last-minute schedule adjustments must be made.  With that being said, clients are being asked to provide a 2-hour cancellation notification by telephone without incurring any fees.  Any client that cancels their session less than 2-hours before the scheduled start time will incur a $25 cancellation fee applied to their account.

Should Body Beneficial Massage & Wellness cancel the scheduled appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, a $20 discount will be credited to the final cost of the next session.

If you have any contagious illness or fever the morning of your scheduled session, please cancel and reschedule immediately as receiving massage will only worsen your conditions.  Please refer to the above cancellation policy.  As a safety precaution to the well-being of the therapist, Body Beneficial Massage & Wellness reserves the right to deny service to anyone showing signs of illness prior to the start of the session.

Informed Consent

During the initial consultation, new clients will receive a copy of the informed consent policy that must be signed as an acknowledgement that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply.

Professional Boundaries

Body Beneficial Massage & Wellness only provides professional therapeutic massage services.  Any requests for sexual activity will not be tolerated.

The pectoral, abdominal, gluteal, and hip areas will only be massaged with verbal consent from the client.  Any massage in the vicinity of the breasts, on a female client, requires both a verbal authorization and a signature on a state approved consent form prior to the start of the session.

All conversation between the therapist and client will remain confidential at all times.  Client files will only be seen by the therapist, and will remain locked in a secure and confidential location at all times.

A written and signed release must be provided, by the client, prior to the release of any documentation to a medical professional.  Body Beneficial Massage & Wellness will maintain possession of the client file master copies at all times.

Medical Conditions

It is the responsibility of each client to keep their client file updated with existing medical conditions, illnesses, and medications; thus, allowing the therapist to make an informed decision regarding the safety of proceeding with massage.

All payments will be made in-full at the conclusion of the session.  Payments may be made in the form of credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, & American Express), money order, or cash.

Personal checks will not be accepted as payment.

Gratuities are not required; however, they are accepted and greatly appreciated.
