Swedish Massage or Relaxation Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, friction, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Aromatherapy is a complementary therapy that is typically combined with a Swedish/Relaxation massage. This therapy utilizes a blend of a pre-selected therapeutic essential oil and soothing massage lotion, that the therapist applies to the body with long, broad strokes to stimulate a desired response. Aromatherapy has been shown to enhance relaxation, clarity of mind, and mood.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is a common occurrence in the following 24-hours after the treatment, and a high volume of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will are released from the muscle belly during the treatment. Also, due to the overall slower pace and complexity of the techniques performed by the therapist during the massage, a minimum of 90-minutes is needed achieve the desired results.
Deep Muscle Therapy
Deep Muscle Therapy is a more advanced version of deep tissue bodywork. It combines a customized, deep-tissue massage, along with warming and cooling thermal products to provide deep muscle pain relief from muscle fatigue, injuries, and/or chronic conditions. A Deep Muscle Therapy session is ideal for anyone who suffers from chronic pain or limited mobility due to postural misalignment, athletic training, repetitive movements, and muscle overuse. After warming up the desired area for the therapy to be performed, Prossage warming ointment and a heating pad will be applied in order to loosen the muscle fibers and reduce muscle spasms; thus, allowing deeper penetration into the muscle belly during the massage session. After completion of the Deep Muscle Therapy, Biofreeze pain relieving gel will be applied to the area to assist in the repair and recovery process of the muscle. The remainder of the massage session will consist of a full-body Swedish Massage to relax the client. Be advised, that soreness is a common occurrence in the following 24-hours after the treatment, and a high volume of water consumption is recommended to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that get released from the muscle belly during the session.
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function. This treatment is primarily for post-event recovery.
Plantar Fasciitis Deep Tissue
The plantar fascia ligament is a band of fibrous tissue, located along the sole of the foot, that stretches outward from the heel bone, then branches out across the arch and through the ball of the foot towards the toes. Its function is to support the bounce and spring of the foot during normal activity. Plantar fasciitis occurs when the plantar fascia stretches and moves more than normal, causing small tears in the tissue and ultimately inflammation of the foot. Additionally, calcium build-ups, called bone spurs, form on the heel and are pressed into the fatty pad of the heel with each step causing mild to severe pain. It is a progressive condition and if left untreated, it can become debilitating to the sufferer. One of the most effective ways to treat plantar fasciitis is to incorporate deep tissue massage strokes on the fascia, achilles heel, and calf muscles which will help release muscle tension, break scar tissue, and increase circulation.
Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

If you are elderly, geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging. In addition, since the elderly don't typically receive enough physical touch, this massage can also help alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression.
Migraine Cold Stone Therapy
An estimated 50-million (1 in 6) Americans suffer from migraine headaches. A migraine is a neurological disease characterized by recurrent moderate to severe headaches often in association with nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light, sound, or smell. Typically, a migraine affects one half of the head and last on average 24-72 hours. Cold Stone Therapy uses a combination of aromatherapy, facial and cranial massage, and cryotherapy with marble stones lowered to 36-degrees fahrenheit. The session will begin with the client selecting the essential oil blend, with the most pleasing smell, which will be applied to the face and neck to lift the mind, promote balance and harmony within the body, and product physiological changes that diminish migraine pain. After the essential oil is applied, a 20-minute facial massage is given to stimulate the lymphatic vessels which removes excess blood and toxins from the facial area, as well as, break up mucus in the sinus cavities reducing congestion and pressure. Following the facial massage, cold stones are applied to the pressure points of the forehead and sinus areas to constrict blood flow to those areas; thus, reducing the swelling and pressure. The final 15-minutes of the session will be a recovery period in which the client will be left alone while the affects of the treatment take full effect.
Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and tension right in the comfort of your home or workplace. The session, which is performed in a specialized ergonomic chair, focuses on the neck, upper back, shoulders, and arms. In addition to the usual health benefits of a traditional table massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. Also, with seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, typically ranging 10-30 minutes, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule. Chair massage services will be performed on location in a private area designated by the company. A 2-hour minimum is required and prices are negotiable for services beyond 3 hours.
